Jordan's Legal Background

Jordan began his legal career working for a Miami-headquartered multi-national Law Firm handling and further developing their growing U.S. Trademark Practice. In this role, Jordan got formative experience registering a wide variety of U.S. Trademarks, as well as contesting Office Actions  before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. It was also in this role that Jordan was able to further develop his interest and expertise in the rapidly emerging and growing intersection of technology and law, as well as gain crucial exposure and experience with U.S. contract law.

Today, Jordan stands before you as a professional who has registered hundreds of U.S. Trademarks, successfully contested a wide variety of USPTO Office Actions, and who has experience with sophisticated contracts ranging from licensing matters to employment contracts for professional athletes. Outside of his official work capacity, Jordan is active with several organizations involved with the growing intersection of technology and the law, including LexDAO, the International Trademark Association, and Markavo. Jordan is deeply interested in the transformative potential of smart contracts, particularly their ability to revolutionize business transactions through blockchain technology. He is keenly aware of how these automated, self-executing contract agreements can streamline operations and ensure a high level of security and transparency. By leveraging the immutable and decentralized nature of blockchain, Jordan explores innovative ways to execute and record business transactions, paving the way for more efficient and reliable business practices.
