Tyler's Legal Background
āTyler got his start in U.S. Immigration working for an accomplished Immigration Litigator drafting the legal memorandums required to successfully represent Asylum applicants, including Political Whistleblower Cases from Russia and the Ex-Soviet Bloc, as well as Religious, LGBTQI, and Racial Persecution Cases; among others. In this formative role, Tyler had the unique opportunity to contest a fraudulent INTERPOL Red Notice, became adept at Board of Immigration Appeals, and was exposed to Federal Litigation; writing several appeals briefs for the U.S. Federal Courts. This role also provided Tyler his first experience with Business and Investment Immigration; Tyler ultimately making the difficult decision to leave Humanitarian Immigration behind, turning his attention to the full time practice of Business and Investment Immigration.
ā
Since then, Tyler has personally prepared numerous E-2 Nonimmigrant Investor Visas submitted to U.S. Consulates in Buenos Aires, Santiago, San José, Toronto, and Madrid. Tyler has also positioned himself as an authority on EB-1A and O-1 Visas of Extraordinary Ability, being the cases he enjoys the most. In this latter capacity, Tyler has represented world class musicians, professional athletes, athletic coaches, an actor, a fashion designer, a journalist, a model, a political scientist, and numerous accomplished entrepreneurs. In particular, Tyler has extensive experience working with outstanding Information Technology professionals and entrepreneurs to craft successful EB-1A, O-1, and EB-2 NIW cases.
ā
Tennis being Tyler's passion outside of the law, he has handled numerous visas for those in the tennis world, and expanded to other sports, favorably handling P-1A "Internationally Recognized Athlete" Visas for an entire professional sports Franchise. Although a lesser part of his daily practice, Tyler is adept with L-1A, L-1B, and L-1A "New Office" Visas for Multinationals, and boasts experience with H-1B Visas, PERM EB-3 Cases, E-1 "Treaty Trader" Visas, and EB-5 matters.āā
ā
In summary, Tyler is extremely well-positioned to handle any U.S. Business or Investment Immigration matter you may have. U.S. Immigration is a stressful practice area concerning the lives of others. Accordingly, Tyler is conservative in the cases he takes on, preferring to represent a few high quality clients at a time rather than have a volume practice, and prides himself on the quality of his legal work above all else. Tyler likes to work intimately and methodically with dedicated hands-on clients, in order to produce the absolute best case possible.
